Sometimes it looks as if homeopathy has no limits, no incurable diseases, none that can´t be cured at all. It looks like restrictions are just in our minds and when we shut our mind to prejudices everything seems to be possible.
One of the examples of my daring assertion is this case of a young woman which I want to share with you. The first time I saw her in July 2020, her father brought her to me. She was 29 years old and wasn’t able to come on her own. In her nineteenth year she has been diagnosed as psychosis with schizophrenia symptoms and she was hospitalized. When I saw her, she was on strong psychiatric drugs.
She was the 3rd child, the only girl, in the family with strict Catholic mother, who was the commander of the house. As a good little girl she had tried to please her mother to gain her love. She had fulfilled all mother´s wishes and suppressed her own needs and emotions. She had never complained about it. In a little while she had forgot to think about herself and what she wanted for herself.
Her parents quarreled a lot and her mother had moved to the daughter’s room and stayed there even when the girl had become a young woman. The girl didn’t want to share a room with her mother but she was scared of her and so didn’t say anything.
The same model of submissive behaviour she she also practiced at school. No wonder that other kids quickly sensed her weakness and bullied her. There were quarrels and tension at home, bullying at school. Her life had turned into a hell. It’s not surprising that she was ill very often. Inflammation of middle ear or bladder had alternated with migraines during of her whole primary school.
To please her mother she worked to get A‘s on her school exams. She transitioned to high school with the same dynamics, all of it culminating into a deep dark state. She hadn’t been able to see anything positive in her life. Her psychological state had become worse and in her mind she heard a bad voice constantly criticizing and blaming her.
In the end she believed that she was evil and that she had caused all the problems going on around her. She saw everything as depraved. She had stopped eating and lost a lot of weight. The last year at the high school she had been sent to a mental hospital and started to take psychiatric drugs.
Mustering all her strength she had finally graduated high school and went to university. She fell in love with a boy but he was not a good choice for her. She wasn’t able to split with him and so she persisted in a bad relationship for four and half years. She completely yielded to the delusion that she was a bad person and that didn’t deserve anything good.
She finally separated from him and had gone on a pilgrimage to Copostella, where she found a new boyfriend. He was kind and she fell totally in love with him. She had started to live with him and eventualy they were planing marriage. Everything seemed to be okay but her disease came back to her.
At that time she was just about to finish university, but there was much stress and she wasn’t able to concentrate to study. With all that emotions about falling in love it was overwhelming for her. Suddenly all the old patterns emerged. She was full of self reproach. From the huge pressure she thought her head was just about to burst.
After a quarrel with her mother she had another attack, she was sitting in the bathroom, body shaking and choking herself. After that she was arguing with her boyfriend again. Her condition deteriorated so that she had seen a yellow monster instead of him. She couldn’t recognise what is reality and what is only her imagination.
These states of mind had repeated and she had become, fearful and had many delusions. Her boyfriend was terrified. He couldn’t handle the situation and broke up with her. She then moved into her parents house as a child which needs help again. Fortunately, her father brought her to me at that point.
Analysis of the case
We see a little girl, brought up strictly to obedience, who had been trying to please everyone for so long that she lost herself and succumbed to the delusion that she is bad. A psychotic state had developed. After treatment by psychoactive drugs her period stopped and she completely lost her joy, her will and finally even herself.
Repertorisation:
I gave her the remedy Mancinela 1M.
Follow up 14 days after remedy: Headache had almost gone and the bad voices in her head had disappeared. She had more energy and the last two days she felt much better and had been more active, but she was still not self-sufficient.
Follow up one month after remedy – August 2020: She had repeated the remedy once after she had met her ex-fiance and broke up with him. She had felt much better than before the remedy. Her menstruation came back. Step by step she had been able to stop the psychiatric drugs. She had stopped blaming herself, no bad voices in her head, no fears. She had found a flat to rent to move from her parent‘s house.
Follow up on September 2020: She had been fine and had not needed to repeat the remedy. She had gone to work, found a new flat, started jogging, enjoying life with friends, without fears, anxieties. She even started to communicate with her ex-fiance and they kept in touch.
Follow up October 2020: She had been fine and had rekindled the relationship with her ex-fiance. She felt happy. No headache, regularly menstruating, good sleep, enough energy.
Next follow ups had become very similar. Now she is a happy and contented young woman with no fears, no pains, no manifestation of schizophrenia. She is healthy, enjoying her life and looking forward to marrying the man she loves.
The last time she repeated Mancinela 1M was January 2021 when she had a mild course of Covid 19.
The last remedy I gave her was Silicea 30, because she had lost smell and taste after Covid 19. Within one week, smell and taste were back.
Mancinella is the most poisonous tree in the world, colloquially referred to as devil’s apple. The fruits look like ugly greenbrown apples and are enormously poisonous. The homeopathic picture of the remedy is about evil. The patient feels she is pure evil, possessed by an evil spirit. It is a very unpleasant state of soul, which this remedy is able to cure.
Thank God that Hahneman discovered homeopathy and we can help our patients in such an elegant and gentle way. I can´t imagine how different the life of this young woman would have been, if it had not been for homeopathy.
