Married to a teacher from village. In her initial phase of married life she was very obedient, a caring and loving person to all the family members, but was never appreciated.

She couldn’t cope up with the atmosphere of village and home. Husband was non-cooperative and introvert. She faced lots of problems trying to keep home and job balanced. Husband used to have many complaints against her which made her undergo a lot of stress.

She used to be more mentally tired. She had a strong desired to conceive, and faced  lots of problems. Her mother in law wanted her son to marry another woman to get children, she had consulted four gynecologists regarding this and underwent all required investigations.

There was no specific cause for infertility. She developed a kind of melancholy, started getting irritated on and off. As she was 30 plus by then and on her gynecologist’s advice she took a decision of going for IVF. After the childbirth she had a problem of lactation failure.

Discussion:

This pre-diagnosed case of fibroids presented with the complaints, physical and mental which were very helpful in selection of the simillimum, Sepia acted well in this case to take care of her physical, general and mental symptoms.

As fibroids are benign growths from smooth muscle fibers of myometrium and represent sycosis, a miasmatic approach using Thuja 1M was prescribed as an intercurrent remedy. The case was managed with her constitutional remedy, Sepia. The patient started showing improvement right after the first prescription and improvement was constant. The patient’s general health improved including her  mental /emotional state.
