The Trituration methodology provokes the latent medicinal constituents of materials which remain dormant in their crude state. This process is used in remedy-preparation on raw-materials that are not soluble in liquid vehicles, namely, alcohol.
Two scales are in use for Trituration: Decimal or Centesimal. For this presentation, decimal scale was used due to small mortar size.
Capsicum (Chili pepper) is soluble in liquid vehicles; however, it is used in this demonstration due to its color pigments for better visibility.
This process was carried on in a clean-room with controlled air-quality, under conditions of GMPs. Equipment used were : a sanitized unglazed mortar with pestle, 9 parts of milk-sugar as powder-vehicle, 1 part of raw capsicum as medicinal ingredient.
Step 1: One part of the raw-material (Capsicum) and nine parts of vehicle (milk-sugar fine powder) were properly mixed in the mortar. To achieve Capsicum in 1X potency, the mixture was thoroughly rubbed in both clockwise and counter-clockwise circular movements for 60 minutes continuously. Dr. Hahnemann regarded this stage as highly important for dynamisation.
Step 2: to achieve Capsicum 2X, one part by weight of the 1X powder was triturated with nine parts by weight of the milk-sugar, and then rubbed for 60 minutes continuously.
Step 3: to achieve Capsicum 3X, one part by weight of the 2X powder was triturated with nine parts by weight of the milk-sugar, and then rubbed for 60 minutes continuously.

nicely explained, easy for common man to understand what is potency
Hi I have often wondered if as well as the drug being potentized we are also potentizing the sac lac also potetizing in alcohol or water are we not also potentizing the alcohol or water ? well we know they work. Just a thought
written well + Crazy simple!
