How to Educate the Critics

If you Google homeopathy, 98% of what comes up is pejorative and totally misleading. Recent articles disparaging homeopathy were found in the Guardian (UK), Brussels Times, Irish Times, the BBC and ANSA (Italy). If you were a naïve observer, you might be convinced that homeopathy had no scientific basis, nor any serious history of healing. How do you fight such ubiquitous dishonesty? Explaining the science might be your first instinct, but what works best is simply sharing your own experiences of healing. The internet critics can debate the science endlessly, but there’s no arguing with personal anecdote. Personal stories ring true. They connect on a visceral level.

If you’re a homeopath or enthusiast, you know that homeopathy has an extraordinary record of both preventing and curing serious disease. You know it has a vast literature of books and journals, but how do you communicate this?  It doesn’t lend itself to a sound bite.

After years of arduous preparation, Hpathy.com recently announced its new free Homeopathy Library. This is the largest free digital collection in the world with over 200 books and 450 journals, and growing. The library contains the teachings of homeopathy’s finest physicians since its inception, along with countless cured cases. This is our gift to the community and we want everyone to take advantage of it.  Hpathy’s main website also has years of articles and clinical cases from both early and recent practitioners. It also lists most of the research studies. These links are what can be offered to genuine skeptics. The information here shows that homeopathy is real, substantial and life-saving. It is not going away.

It’s very important that the links to the Library and Hpathy.com be placed on as many websites as possible. This will help network them and keep them always available, to everyone.
