Chemical action or chemical/molecular bonding takes place among alcohol/lactose and substances used for making homeopathic remedy

Please inform if any chemical action or chemical/molecular bonding takes place among alcohol/lactose and substances used for making homeopathic remedy while preparing the remedies in dynamic doses. It looks that there can be two possibilities;
1. Different compounds are formed in different potencies if chemical reaction or chemical bonding takes place.
2. Smaller molecules are separated on trituration from bigger molecules of original substance and attached to the molecules of carriers alcohol/lactose by molecular forces.
Can you please comment. Best regards.

Dear Vijay,

There have been some theories which suggest a change in the intermolecular bonding of the vehicle. The most popular theory is about Memory of Water. You can find more about it on the Internet. There has been no evidence that any specific bonding takes place between drug substance and the vehicles. Both your assumptions 1 and 2 are not possible physically, as beyond 12 C potency there are no detectable molecules of the original drug substance in homeopathic medicines. When there are no detectable molecules, any kind of bonding or compound formation is just out of question.

Best wishes,
Dr. B
