If in the treatment of a chronic case an acute picture appears, should it be prescribed upon? May be that is bodys way of pushing the disease to a less dangerous part.By prescribing now are we not interfering with bodys intelligence? How to know whether the acute picture is a part of the chronic case or that it is a fresh picture?
If the person has a return of old symptoms, then it is a healing situation and we try to let it work its way out. If the symptoms are of the remedy and the person never had them, then it may be a proving. If is a true acute and the person is in danger or very uncomfortable, this can be treated and then the chronic remedy continued. Alan V. Schmukler
