Variolinum – As a preventive of smallpox, it is far superior to crude vaccination and absolutely safe from the sequelae, especially septic and tubercular infection.
Tarantula – Slight touch along the spine provokes spasmodic pain in the chest and cardiac region.
Syphilinum – Teeth decay at edge of gum and break off. Craving alcohol, in any form. Hereditary tendency to alcoholism (Asar., Psor., Tuber., Sulph., Sulph. ac).
Aethusa Cynapium – Epileptic spasms, with clenched thumbs, red face, eyes turned downwards, pupils fixed and dilated, foam at the mouth, jaws locked, pulse small, hard, quick.
Tuberculinum bacillinum – When Psorinum, Sulphur., or the best-selected remedy fails to relieve or permanently improve. Follows Psorinum. As a constitutional remedy in hay fever, asthma.
Agnus Castus – Premature old age, melancholy, apathy, mental distraction, self-contempt, arising in young persons from abuse of the sexual powers, seminal losses.
Veratrum Album – Mania with a desire to cut and tear everything, especially clothes (Taran.), lascivious talk, amorous or religious (Hyos., Stram.). Attacks of fainting from least exertion (Carbo v., Sulph.).
Hepar Sulph renders patients less susceptible to atmospheric changes and cold air.
Thuja – Headache as if a nail had been driven into the parietal bone (Coff, Ign.)
Hyoscyamus – Convulsions of children from fright or the irritation of intestinal worms (Cina).
Podophyllum antidotes the bad effects of mercury
Causticum – Cannot cover too warmly, but warmth does not ameliorate.
Aconite should never be given simply to control the fever, never alternated with other drugs for that purpose. If it be a case requiring Aconite no other drug is needed. Aconite will cure the case.
Phytolacca has pains flying like electric shocks rapidly shifting (Lac c, Puls.) ; worse from motion and at night. Entire indifference to life; sure she will die. Irresistible desire to bite the teeth or gums together
Euphrasia – Bad effects from falls, contusions or mechanical injuries of external parts (Arn).
Picric Acid has small boils in any part of the body, especially in external auditory canal. Burning along the spine and great weakness of spine and back; softening of cord (Phos., Zinc).
Ammonium Carbonicum – Stout, fleshy women with various troubles in consequence of leading a sedentary life. Readily catch cold in winter. Children dislike washing (Ant. a, Sulph.).
Caladium – Mosquito and insect bites burn and itch, intensely.
Calc Ars – The slightest emotion causes palpitation of heart (Lith. c).
Graphites – Excessive cautiousness, timid, hesitates, unable to decide about anything (Puls.).
Borax- Children awake suddenly, screaming and grasping sides of cradle, without apparent cause (Apis, Cina, Stram.).
Aloe Socotrina – Adapted to indolent, “weary” persons; averse to either mental or physical labor. Mental labor fatigues

German health minister calls to cut state-funded homeopathy
German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach has said that homeopathic medicine has no place in the science-based statutory health insurance system and called for it to be cut. “For that reason, we are going to reassess if homeopathy should be removed as a benefit of statutory healthcare.”
Editor’s note: According to a 2020 study conducted by social research institute Forsa, more than half of Germans have used homeopathy and 70 percent are open to it.

Ipecacuanha – Incessant and moist spasmodic cough, with every breath, in delicate children, and great paleness of the face, with nausea.
Kali Carbonicum – Much weakness and weariness of the chest. Copious night sweats, without relief.
Argentum Nitricum – In thin, scrawny people having a dried-up appearance, looking like mummies. A feeling as if the body, or some part of it, was expanding.
Apis Mellifica – Waxy paleness of the skin; hands, legs, and feet greatly swollen, almost transparent, great oedema.
