Allen reports having used, in his own case, a freshly prepared dilute nitro-muriatic acid, 10 to 15 drops after each meal, stating that in a few days under this treatment he could note improvement. Coffea
Coffea is often indicated in the toothache of children and of nervous people. Sometimes you will be led to give Chamomilla in these cases. You find the mental symptoms indicating that drug, yet it does no good, or it affords but partial relief. But if cold water relieves permanently, Coffea is the remedy.
Apis
I have had several cases of asthenopia cured by Apis when reading causes smarting in the eyes, with lachrymation and itching of the eye-lids and some burning and stinging. Apis is also a remedy for staphyloma, whether of the cornea or sclerotic.
Apis is often indicated in scrofulous ophthalmia, in which affection it is often followed by Kali bichromicum.
Oleander
Oleander produces weak memory, forgetfulness and slowness of perception. The patient has great difficulty in catching the meaning of remarks. Along with these mental symptoms, is a vertigo. Oleander is an important remedy when the symptoms just mentioned are forerunners of paralysis.
Apomorphia
The vomiting of Apomorphia is not of the kind for which you give Ipecac,Tartar emetic, Lobelia, etc. It is a reflex vomiting usually from the brain. Apomorphia produces vomiting if injected hypodermically, long before it can have any local action on the stomach. You may utilize this effect of the drug in vomiting of cerebral origin, and also in seasickness.
Hamamelis
Varicocele has been cured by Hamamelis applied externally and taken internally. The great characteristic of this drug which makes its choice certain, is soreness of the affected part. It is a soreness which is not exactly the bruised feeling of Arnica. nor the sensitive soreness of Lachesis, nor the stinging soreness of Apis but it is that sore feeling which belongs to venous congestion.

The quickest way to stop nose-bleed is to snuff up a little Hamamelis, or as it is more popularly known, Witch Hazel.
If you have had a broken bone and suffer more or less pain at the break even though years have passed since the healing, take Symphytum 3 occasionally, rub some Symphytum mother tincture on the painful area. This has given relief to many sufferers.
Dr. John H. Clarke says of Malandrinum, “I have cured with it cases of unhealthy, dry rough skin remaining for years after vaccination, in smallpox, measles and impetigo.”
Pulsatilla is one of our great remedies for toothache. It feels as if a nerve is stretched to its utmost and then all of a sudden let loose again. This tense tearing throbbing jerking pain shoots into the gum every now and then and makes the eyes water. The pain gets almost maddening towards evening and early part of the night.
Plantago
The simultaneous existence of toothache and earache and the presence of salivation during an attack of toothache are two very important indications of Plantago and they are never known to have failed.
Ustilago
We find a complete loss of hair under this remedy. Dr. Harndall relates a case of alopecia in a bitch dog that he cured with Ustilago. The symptoms were her tendency to abort and the hemorrhage to which she was subject to. His surprise knew no bounds when the above symptoms subsided and a perfect coating of hair sprung up.

Sabina
Sabina has a decided effect in diminishing knots, enlargements, or varices in veins. The principal action is on the lower bowel, about the anus. Sabina also cures warty excrescences about the anus, cauliflower excrescences, gonorrhoeal warts about the vulva and about the male genitals.
Ledum
The horse sometimes steps on a nail. If that nail goes through and strikes the margin of the coffin bone, tetanus will follow. It is known to be almost sure death. Put Ledum on the tongue of that horse and there will not be any trouble, for it prevents such conditions.
Lac Vaccinum Defloratum
Chronic constipation where rectum seems paralyzed and the stool is large, hard and difficult. After prolonged straining the stool recedes. It has cured after Silica failed. People who drink milk habitually become anemic and catarrhal; fatty degeneration of muscles, of heart and liver. Malassimilation, is the most marked feature of milk poison.
Kreosotum
Kreasotum is a great remedy for diarrheas in the summer, especially for infants. It may be the infant suffering from the worst form of summer complaint or he may be teething.
Kalma Latifolia

Protests of smart meters in France
The Dordogne commune in France has been taken to court in Bordeaux after refusing to allow Linky smart electricity meters to be installed. They were taken to court by the prefecture and national grid company Enedis. 270 communes across the country have opposed installation of the smart meters due to possible breach of confidential data, danger from microwaves and the meters raising electric rates.
GMO’s still not labeled in the U.S.
In 1994 GMO foods were introduced into the U.S. The only safety testing was a 90 day rat study, the true results of which were hidden. Since then GMO foods have not been labeled in the U.S., although they are labeled in many other countries.
GM Moths
Biotech company Oxitec announced on Sept. 5 that it has started releasing genetically modified (GM) moths in Geneva, New York. The moth has been genetically modified to produce offspring that will die before reaching maturity. It has a kind of genetic “kill switch.” GeneWatch and the Center for Food Safety have pointed out that the kill switch is not 100 percent effective. Some GM moths survive and breed with the wild population, perhaps changing the wild population irreversibly.
